Who we are

Scale Health is a specialist talent partner working with regulated health and health-technology organisations in the United Kingdom. This policy explains how we handle personal data for candidates, clients and website visitors.

What we collect

For candidates: name, contact details, CV content, employment and registration history, professional registration numbers where relevant, right-to-work information and any preferences you share with us.

For clients: name, business contact details and the content of hiring briefs and correspondence.

For visitors: essential cookies required to run the site, plus optional analytics cookies where you have consented.

Why we use it

To match candidates to suitable roles, to represent candidates to clients with their knowledge, to fulfil our contractual obligations to clients, and to meet legal and regulatory requirements including safer-recruitment checks in health settings.

Lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests for core recruitment activity, contract performance where we have an agreement with you, consent for optional marketing and analytics, and legal obligation where checks are required by law.

Sharing

Candidate details are shared with a prospective employer only with the candidate's agreement. We also use vetted service providers for email, applicant tracking and hosting, each bound by written data-processing terms. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Candidate records are held for up to two years from the last meaningful contact, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Client records are held for the duration of the relationship plus six years for tax and contractual purposes.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any right, email hello@scalehealth.co.uk. We respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
